Your First Class
You are welcome to drop-in to any class. If I know you are coming, I will send you an email that will include:
- details on how to find and get into the practice space
- what to wear/bring to class
- a new student input form
- the amount owing and a description of payment options
Please print and complete the input form and bring it to your first class.
If you have not paid in advance, please bring payment to your first class. I gratefully accept cash, cheque (made out to Balance At Work), e-transfer, and credit.
To minimize disturbance to the class and make the most of our time together, please try to arrive on time for class.
Workday De-Stress Yoga
This is a gentle Hatha series that stretches and strengthens the entire body. I demonstrate while teaching.
Before-work and After-work classes are 45 minutes in length.
Lunch-hour classes are 40 minutes in length.
Yin yoga is about slowing down to achieve a truly deep stretch. We will move into poses slowly and hold them for several minutes to allow the stretch to shift from the muscles and into the connective tissues. You are sure to leave this class feeling calm and relaxed.
This class is 40 minutes in length.
What to Wear & Bring
Please wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing or yoga wear, whichever you prefer.
Please bring a yoga mat and water to class.
Don’t have a yoga mat?
No problem… mats are available to rent for $1.
To discourage the use of bottled water, filtered water and glasses are provided for free.
