What to Expect
The day will be divided into four 90-minute “modules.” Each will begin with about 20 minutes of meditation, yoga *, or time in nature as catalysts for calming the inner chatter, followed by facilitated writing exercises to express yourself from the space created for newfound expression.
* no yoga or meditation experience required!

Andrew Jobes
Yoga Instructor & Guide
Andrew is a yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner. He has a range of writing experience, with work published in the non-fiction, scientific, and Canadian literary genres. He has a Creative Writing Certificate from Trent University, has edited 4 books, done some blogging, edited a monthly newsletter for 3 years, and has crazy hair.
Through Balance At Work, he offers corporate wellness, workshops, yoga classes, Reiki treatments, and guided bird walks. This is his first full-day retreat, and he’s excited to co-create with Stacy a rich day for all.

Stacy Kirkbride
Yoga Instructor & Guide
Stacy is a certified personal trainer, yoga teacher, recreation therapist and freelance writer. She has a passion for guiding people, with the helpful lens of yoga and mindfulness, to exploring their stories. When she is not pulling at the details of life she can usually be found unravelling a piece of knitting to endlessly start over.
