Class Decsriptions

Monday Gentle Yoga

Focus: Stretching & Relaxation
These classes involve gentle movement, stretching, and longer holds in relaxed poses to wake up the body and help you find flexibility and relaxation.

Suitable for all levels.

Wednesday Hatha Yoga

Focus: Full-body Stretch & Strengthen
These classes balance stretching with strengthening to relieve stress and leave you feeling strong, relaxed, and energized.

Beginner friendly with variations for all.

Pre-recorded Classes

Focus: Flexibility in body and scheduling

Sliding Scale Fees

I want to make yoga available to as many as possible.

Choose any of the 3 fee options below. All of them give you access to all live-streamed classes PLUS anytime viewer access to 26 recorded classes during the current calendar month.

The average month has 8 classes, but this varies with holidays, month length, etc., and ranges from 7-10.

The Fine Print

  • Full payment is required up-front.
  • HST is additional. Totals after tax are $14.13, $33.90, $50.85, and $67.80.
  • Sessions are for 1 calendar month and end on the final day of each month. Unused classes do not carry over into the following month (reach out if you have medical or other life challenges, though).

Andrew Jobes has taught more than 3,200 yoga classes and workshops since 2013. He’s coordinated and taught yoga classes for the Robinson Place Lunch-hour Wellness Program since January 2017. Andrew owns and operates Balance At Work, which specializes in workplace wellness services, yoga classes, and workshops, as well as yoga and meditation for clients with mental health diagnoses. He worked for the MNRF for 10 years and understands the physical and mental stresses of the workplace. Andrew has completed 500-hour Hatha, 100-hour Vinyasa (Flow), 15-hour Trauma-sensitive, and 18-hour Love Your Brain (to help students with acquired brain injuries) Yoga Teacher Trainings and has provided educational presentation and led workplace wellness workshops and yoga classes for several Peterborough employers. He’s a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), currently completing a student therapist internship for an MA in Counselling Psychology as part of the ongoing evolution of his career.
